We are looking for couples that want to be involved in their wedding planning process, but don’t necessarily know how to execute their vision. They are looking for some help, recommendations, and resources to have a personalized wedding day. We help with all-things coordination as your wedding day director, ensuring your big day goes as perfect as possible.

ABOUT ME:

I'm Bree, the founder & owner of ALL things Capitol Romance LLC & I'm pumped you’re here!

After getting married in Washington, DC in 2010, I launched a wedding blog, Capitol Romance, aimed at helping couples plan their DC area wedding. Through the blog I met tons of amazing couples and awesome wedding vendors and I was continually energized by how many people in DC were craving more practical and localized DC wedding resources. In September of 2012, I decided to bite the bullet and take my love of helping couples further by launching Capitol Romance Wedding Coordination.

In 2015, it was time to grow the Capitol Romance Wedding Coordination family and I brought on my first Associate Coordinator, Alesha! In 2016 we grew the team again, bringing on Kara. In 2017, the #CapRo family got even bigger, as we welcomed Amanda to the team too!

And then 2020 changed everything.

With the pandemic completely changing the wedding scene and our coordinators growing up and moving on from weddings, we decided it was time to change yet again. This year, 2022, we are re-vamping our team, adding elopements to our services, and I will be stepping back significantly from coordination. BUT I am so lucky to have such an amazing team behind my brand, and we will continue to help the couples of Washington, DC continue to have the weddings they want, their way.

THINGS I LOVE:

my husband, daughter & son. my chaotic, loving extended family. my crazy mini doxie, Sadie. Harry Potter (probably more of an obsession at this point). all genres of rock music. the District of Columbia (Northeast DC Represent!). meeting new people. helping people. nontraditional weddings (duh). our NE DC rowhouse that we sold in 2016). our latest project: #RybacksRenovate & #RybacksDecorate .
